Insurance

Since insurance is rapidly playing an increasing role in helping people to obtain treatment, we have compiled these facts to help you understand our insurance policy.

If you can select your own dentist, chances are we can work with your insurance company. We’ll need the subscriber’s social security number or identification number, date of birth, and valid 1-800 telephone number to verify dental coverage benefits. On the basis of the general information given us in that initial phone call, we do our best to figure what part you need to pay. Complete coverage information is found in your plan booklet. In most cases, we will accept assignment of your insurance benefits. As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.

If you have any questions regarding the specifics of your plan, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider.
