Meet Dr. Faught

darrell faught ddsDr. Faught is a native Texan, born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in the Houston area. He graduated from Conroe High School and first fell in love with the Austin area while attending school at The University of Texas at Austin where he earned his B.A. in Biology. Dr. Faught then attended Dental School at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 1992. After graduating, Dr. Faught worked as an associate dentist for a private practice in Seguin, Texas for 2½ years. He decided he was ready to get back to the beautiful Austin area and has had his own practice in Round Rock since 1994.

Dr. Faught is a 25 year member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Capital Area Dental Society.  He is also a founding member of the Lone Star Dental Seminar study group, a local chapter of the Seattle Study Club. He volunteers his time with the Texas Mission of Mercy and provides dental education presentations to area schools. He is active in his continuing education and strives to learn the latest techniques to bring quality, comfortable care to his patients.

Dr. Faught and his wife, Karen, have two daughters, Taylor and Dana. Dr. Faught comes from a family of Texas farmers and ranchers, so he loves the great Texas outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and golf. One of his greatest joys is when he is with his family, watching his daughters acquire the same love of the outdoors that he does.
